正当我等为同胞的此类行为觉得汗颜的时候，一段新加坡人在寺庙里抢食的视频也不甘示弱，在网上热传。
据网友说，这是蔡厝港斗母宫去年10月庆祝九皇大帝千秋的活动。从视频里可以看到，上百人闹成一团，很多人直接上手从自助餐桌上狂扫食物，拼命地装进自己的袋子或盘子里。
看来，大家也不必妄自菲薄了，爱占便宜的似乎不只是中国人。
不过，有网友断定抢食的肯定是华人：
Hanz Hann Hahahaha…..PRC Chinese n SG Chinese, come to food issued…it seems NO DIFFERENCE….! （哈哈，中国人和新加坡华人，看到吃的，都一样）
Thar Khin Chinese will be the chinese . It doesnt matter where they came from or where they are living now. （华人就是华人，不管他们是哪儿来的，或者他们现在住在哪儿。）
有的网友则比较理性、客观：
Anthony Tan That goes to show that regardless of which country you come from……there are always some ugly ones. （这说明不管是哪个国家的人，都有一些行为丑陋的。）
JF Gary Tom Many Chinese from China are generous. I did see many of them donating money to a local temple to help the poor people in. （很多中国来的人很慷慨大方。我见过他们有很多人给这儿的寺庙捐款，帮助这儿的穷人。）
也有网友认真地分析起抢食背后的原因：
Tay Eric you know why they behave like that?the simple reason is people are becoming poorer and poorer due to inflation and stagnant salary in singapore now the most expensive country in the world. （知道他们为什么那样做吗？很简单，新加坡是全世界最贵的国家，物价上涨，工资不涨，人们越来越穷了。）
不管怎样，身为华人，我们还是希望这样的事情少一些吧。
