“The boat is moving forward, the tree crowns are receding, and we are getting closer to them!” On July 8, a reporter from the Guangxi International Communication Center boarded a PLA rescue boat to head for Guigang Senior High School. Amid raging floodwaters, PLA escorted two babies to safe evacuation. Every disaster rescue is not just about evacuating people, but more about guarding families one by one.
