Singaporean Mr Terence Loh is a veteran of the consumer, retail and services business. A former JP Morgan banker, he has been instrumental in the opening of PPP Laser Clinic in Singapore. In the last two years, Terence was also involved in the opening of 20 aesthetic clinics across China. Prior to this, as the Managing Director of DORR Group, he operated a string of successful luxury car dealerships in China and is actively involved in various start-up businesses, including one of China’s largest online fashion magazine and wedding photography platform.
Fellow Singaporean Mr Nelson Loh is an ex-investment banker at JP Morgan. He is experienced in regional M&A and capital market transactions, having successfully completed numerous capital market and corporate finance transactions over the course of his banking career. A graduate of Cambridge University, Mr Nelson Loh is a seasoned investor who has managed several investment funds in Asia and his deal execution experience brings immense value to the PPP business. With him stepping forward to lead PPP with Terence, the Company is well-poised to ride through the recent operational disruptions caused by the previous management.
“PPP Laser Clinic is a proven skincare laser solution provider in the market locally and in Asia. My first and foremost priority since assuming management control is to ensure that PPP’s patients are well taken care of. This includes improving our service standards, resuming normal operating hours and the opening of more (previously closed) clinics. Further to this, we are pleased that the Court has made orders for the protection of PPP’s businesses and assets,” said Mr Terence Loh, Managing Director, PPP Laser Clinic.
“Terence is a proven business leader with a track record of delivering results. The addition of his business acumen and global healthcare industry experience greatly deepens our management bench strength as we seek to deliver high-value services to our patients,” said Dr Ng Hong Yi, Deputy Regional Chief Medical Officer, PPP Laser Clinic. “Having an aligned vision with the Board, we are confident in the new management’s abilities to lead PPP Laser Clinic through this hiccup and build for the future.”
In keeping with the Lunar New Year celebrations this week, Mr Terence Loh, Mr Nelson Loh and Dr Kenneth Thean have today visited some of the Company’s clinics to spread the New Year cheer with patients and staff – through the traditional lion dance ceremony and the giving of Mandarin oranges to patients – signalling the heralding of a new PPP management team in the New Year. Attached are two photos from celebrations at the Jurong Point outlet.
