The Singapore Media Festival presents the SMF Festival Village, transforming Armenian Street into a bustling entertainment hub over two action-packed weekends. Expect dazzling cinematic experiences under the stars, immersive VR showcases, and engaging workshops and masterclasses for everyone to enjoy.

1. Making its festival premiere at SMF and presented in collaboration with Singapore International Film Festival – SGIFF is an episode from HBO Asia Original’s anthology drama series FOOD LORE.


Directed by Singaporean filmmaker Don Aravind, FOOD LORE: A Plate of Moon explores the uncanny relationship formed between a young and reluctant domestic helper from India hired to care for an elderly Singaporean man, as they bond over food, love and memories.

Families, look out for Rilakumma (リラックマ Rilakkuma SAN-X) writer Naoko Ogigami’s workshop for your kids to learn and create storytelling pieces, and be sure to check out Hello Group as they dish out insider tips on acting auditions!

3. Join us for a night filled with laughter at SG Media Festival Village with The FLYFlickz Hour – Starring FLY Entertainment’s Irene Ang.
Along with fellow FLY artistes Patricia Mok (莫小玲) and Tosh Rock, expect stand-up comedy, interactive games and more – happening on 30 Nov 2019, 7pm – 8pm!
