With menus inspired by jewellery, Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant at TOP of UOB Plaza will be organising two events on 15 and 16 November. Guests will also be able to view a jewellery exhibition by Eon Jade, a jeweller from Guagzhou that specialises in the use of fine jadeite.

  • Bedazzled by a jewellery-inspired wine pairing dinner

 

On the evening of 15 November, a wine dinner held in partnership with Malt & Wine Asia will take place at the TOP of UOB Plaza outlet. From the skillful hands of Executive Chef Chan Shun Wong, amenu of elegantly plated dishes will be presented to the diners. The dishes include the Deep-fried Lychee and Crab Meatballs in Passion Fruit Sauce (百香果荔枝蟹肉球) and Braised Live Lobster with Angel Hair Pasta (龙虾天使面).

 

Diners can expect beautiful dishes from the skillful hands of Executive Chef Chan Shun Wong in the seven-course dinner menu.

The menu will be paired with six Chateau Beychevelle wines. As a special treat for wine lovers, diners will have the opportunity to interact with wine maker Mr Philippe Blanc, who will be presenting Chateau Beychevelle and the family estate wines. During the dinner, diners may also view exquisite jadeite jewellery from the adjacent showcase by Eon Jade. Seats are available at $148 per person.

 

  • A one-of-a-kind high tea event at the TOP of UOB Plaza

 

In partnership with Eon Jade and Blum & Co, a one-of-a-kind fashion show will be held at the TOP of UOB Plaza outlet on 16 November from 230pm to 5pm. Established in 1992, Blum & Co is best known for its flagship brand BLUM, which is an exclusive middle-upper label made for professional women.

Attendees of the event will be able to enjoy a showcase of BLUM’s designer dresses and Eon Jade’s jewellery whilst savouring a nine-course high tea. The high tea menu includes jewellery-inspired dim sum dishes such as the Chilled Crab Meat with Crab Roe (冻蟹肉三文鱼籽) and Minced Meat Glutinous Rice Dumpling wrapped in Banana Leaf (叶儿粑). Other exquisite dim sum items include the Steamed Crystal Fugu Dumpling (河豚水晶饺), created by Dim Sum Chef Peng Yi Chun. Seats are available at $40 nett per person.

 

  • Exhibition information

 

Eon Jade will be exhibiting at PARKROYAL on Beach Road outlet from 9 to 13 November where a jewellery-inspired menu priced at $88 per person will be available. Diners who choose this menu will stand a chance to win a grand prize of a 2D1N stay in a Deluxe Room with breakfast for two at PARKROYAL on Beach Road. The exhibition will continue from 14 to 17 November at the TOP of UOB Plaza outlet.
