A self-driving, autonomous vehicle was spotted patrolling the Bedok Reservoir park admonishing anyone who could hear it to comply with stricter measures to stem the spread of the coronavirus.
Known as O-R3 It uses a Siri-like crisp voice to politely tell everyone off to stay home and not loiter around. The outdoor security robot is equipped with facial recognition sensors and a 360-degree, high-definition camera that captures and records its surroundings.
This robot was actually launched by PUB water agency in May last year to help in surveillance operations. However, it has since been given a new role to fight Covid-19.
