Our client is Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City and their vision is to develop a 123 sqkm land over the next 20 years into a smart / eco city of 500K population, with one third of land devoted to knowledge-based industries.
Position: Senior Manager/VP, Industry Promotion @ Guangzhoa
Responsibilities:
(1) Build up and manage the Investment Promotion team:
(2) Support the HOD in building pipeline and fulfilling mutually-agreed investment targets with Guangzhou Development District;
(3) Build both domestic and overseas channels.
Requirements:
(1) Open to Chinese locals & other nationalities;
(2) 15-20 yrs work experience with exposure to industry;
(3) 7-10 yrs international experience at mid-to senior management level;
(4) Multi-cultural work exposure;
(5) English and Chinese language capability – reading and writing;
(6) Investment promotion experience preferably with EDB type of work exposure at the frontline;
(7) Worked in China for 5 -7 years at mid- to senior management level;
(8) Posting in China;
(9) Has initiative; Innovative; Proactive; Tenacious;
(10) Leader who can motivate and lead the team to achieve team’s targets.
